Christmas in "The South" Day 4 Universal Studios Park

The next morning we headed to the Universal Studios Park. This park was just as busy but had less to see so we didn't have to wait in line as much.

Some of the rides are just like those in Hollywood, T2 and The Simpson's. But they have a completely different Jaws ride and a few things we don't have in Hollywood like MIB and Twister.

Outside the Kwik-E-Mart next to the Simpson's Ride.

The perfect breakfast treat after the Simpson's ride. Mmmmm donuts.  They were super yummy.

It didn't take us long to get through this park, T2, The Simpson's Ride, MIB, Jaws, and we were ready for lunch.  After we polished off our hot dogs and chili cheese fries we waited a very long time for Disaster, which is similar to one part of the tram ride in Hollywood, but sooooo not worth the wait.

I must commend them for having a Starbucks right in the park, but also not worth the wait. It was packed, so we moved on to the Mummy which had a 140 minute wait. Yikes!  Eric and I decided since we had been there, done that in Hollywood we would find a bench while Melissa, Domonique and Kim waited in line.
We also found this interesting treat.  A unsweetened waffle cone filled with mashed potatoes, corn, turkey, gravy and cranberry sauce.  Eric had to have one, and I tried a bite, not bad, not bad at all.  They also had one with mac & cheese or taco salad.  I think I may have to recreate if I ever purchase something that can make waffle cones!!

While sitting on the bench with our snacks waiting for the others to ride The Mummy, we had the pleasure of watching the Notre Dame marching band and cheerleaders.  It was part of the special Macy's Parade thing the park was doing.

We were able to see the Twister experience before we shopped for souvenirs and left the park for our 5hr car ride back to GA.  We had a great 2 days in Orlando, well worth the exhausting trip.
